MY APPROACH

Therapy with Teens

My work with teens is truly fulfilling because of the positive results I've seen. By actively engaging teens in therapy, I promote insight, emotional awareness, and growth toward a brighter future.

Whether you are struggling with anxiety, low self-esteem, or not fitting in; having a lot of arguments with others; or seeking emotional support as a high aptitude (gifted) learner, I've got your back. Therapy may be different, but it can also be nice to feel so seen and heard.

Therapy with Adults

My approach with adults is to give you all the compassionate and thoughtful care that you deserve.

I work with my clients to address your concerns from an affirming model. Where others may offer stigma, I offer support and hope for a more peaceful life. Bring your authentic self to therapy and be assured that you will be appreciated just as you are.

Whether you are experiencing anxiety, you are an autistic adult seeking neurodiversity affirming therapy, or you would like to reduce the difficulties of self-criticism and intense emotional distress; I emphasize your strengths, take into account your needs, and focus on your challenges.

Theoretical Methods

Methods I use to address these concerns include:

  • Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT)

  • Emotionally Focused Therapy (EFT)

  • Family Systems Therapy (FST)

  • Person Centered (Rogerian)

  • Strengths-Based Therapy (SBT)
