neurodivergent therapy

Welcome! I specialize in providing neurodiversity affirming therapy for autistic adults and teens. As a therapist, who is also autistic, I understand the unique challenges that come with being autistic and I am dedicated to providing a safe and understanding space for you to work through your concerns.

My Specialties

I understand that living as an autistic person can be challenging and can lead to difficulties such as anxiety and depression, masking and autistic burnout, emotional distress caused by meltdowns and shutdowns, low self-esteem, family conflict, and difficulties with work or school performance.

I work with clients to address these concerns in a holistic and compassionate manner. I understand that each autistic person is unique. Thus, I work with you to create an individualized treatment plan that is tailored to your specific needs

I also place a strong emphasis on mindful self-care. I believe that taking care of oneself is an essential part of the healing process and I work with you to develop self-care strategies that can be integrated into your daily life.

Welcoming Your Authentic Self
I am also LGBTQIA+, non-binary, and transgender affirming; disability informed; and aware of intersecting forms of discrimination. I strive to create a safe and inclusive space for all of my clients, and I understand the importance of addressing the unique challenges faced by marginalized communities.

Registered Associate Marriage and Family Therapist

AMFT # 122573
Employed and Supervised by
Arthur Ellis Holden Jr. PhD, PSY # 9379

As a Registered Associate Marriage and Family Therapist, I strive to help you or your teen realize growth by working together to inspire positive mental health, achievable goals, and healthy relationships.

I graduated with honors from the University of Illinois at Chicago. During my subsequent career in California, I saw how the failure to address mental health concerns created greater adversities for individuals and families.

I chose to follow my passion of helping others by attending a graduate program in Clinical Psychology. I received my Master of Science in Psychology at California State University Fullerton (CSUF). My training also included a practicum at S.T. Counseling of Orange County. In private practice, I have continued that education by specializing in neurodiversity affirming therapy focused on autism, anxiety, emotional distress, and teens.

On a personal level, I am a neurodivergent therapist with a great appreciation for geek culture, virtual reality gaming, science fiction, and superhero movies. I also encourage you to explore your focused interests and share them with me as much as you desire. Unmask and be your authentic self!

I believe that together we can create a new way to live that honors your authentic self by being both mindful of the present and hopeful for the future. I welcome you to contact me when you are ready to start that journey.
